October 1, 2026: Mountain bike and hiking trails remain open through October. All trails at the Bethel Village Trails network will close on October 30 for hunting season. Get ready for ski season by downloading the Nordic Pulse app!
June 5, 2026: At long last, the Whitecap Cliffs hiking trail in the Bethel Community Forest is now open (Note: Lichen Ledge is still closed).
May 18, 2026: All of our mountain bike and hiking trail networks are open for the season! Thanks for your understanding, and ride/walk on!

NOTE: The Community Access Trail (CATS) trailhead at Vernon Street is closed indefinitely. CATS can be accessed at the Pine Ridge Road parking lot.
