Our Winter Trail Center at the Bethel Resort & Suites (next to Millbrook Tavern) is officially open for the season from 9am to 4pm daily for cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, and fat biking.
Stop by to pick up your season or day pass (a pass is required to enjoy our winter trails) and chat with the friendly Trail Center staff for updates on conditions. You can also check out daily trail condition updates here and at Nordic Pulse (linked below). We can’t wait to see you!
You can download the Nordic Pulse app to your mobile device to get updated condition reports and locate yourself on the trails.

BETHEL COMMUNITY FOREST UPDATE: It’s that time of year again – Locke Mountain Road/summer parking lot is closed as of December 2, 2025. There is absolutely NO parking in front of the gate or along Daisy Bryant Road. Doing so will result in your vehicle getting towed. The plowed, winter parking for the Bethel Community Forest is at 305 North Road just past Coleman Concrete. This is a multi-use trailhead with parking for snowmobile access, backcountry skiing, hiking, and snowshoeing. Access to Bethel Community Forest West/Parks-Bennett will remain open and plowed throughout the winter. Thank you for your cooperation!
NOTE: The Community Access Trail (CATS) trailhead at Vernon Street is closed indefinitely. CATS can be accessed at the Pine Ridge Road parking lot.
