October 2025: It has been an awesome summer and fall but a heads up that the Bethel Village Trails will close for the season on November 1, 2025 (last access: Friday, October 31) per the landowner’s request during hunting season. The good news? Bethel Community Forest, Bacon Hill, Kendall Brook Forest, and Pennacook Area Community Trails in Rumford will remain open for biking (weather permitting), and all other hiking trails stay open. Please avoid biking during freeze/thaw cycles to protect trails and wildlife.
A huge thanks to our landowners for sharing their land and helping us keep these trails accessible and enjoyable. Get out for a few more rides before the season ends—see you back at Bethel Village Trails once the snow flies!
NOTE: The Community Access Trail (CATS) trailhead at Vernon Street is closed indefinitely. CATS can be accessed at the Pine Ridge Road parking lot
